About

For more than two decades, Allison Bell built an extraordinary career on some of the world’s most demanding stages as an internationally acclaimed opera singer, performing at the highest levels of elite artistic excellence. Across 25 years based in London in the performing arts, she not only mastered the technical and emotional demands of peak performance herself, but became deeply immersed in understanding the neuroscience, psychology, and physiology that underpin exceptional human potential.

This rare combination of lived elite performance experience and academic rigour led Allison to advanced study in Peak Performance neuroscience through the University of California, San Diego, alongside extensive training in psychology, trauma, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Through this work, she developed a cutting-edge, trauma-informed approach to coaching and psychotherapy that integrates neuroscience, interpersonal psychotherapy, somatic therapies and compassionate psychological care.

Initially sought after by high-level performers, including internationally recognised singers across multiple genres, Allison became known for her unique ability to help elite artists navigate performance anxiety, trauma, identity, self-worth, and the intense psychological pressures of high achievement. Her work bridged the gap between technical mastery and emotional healing in ways few practitioners could offer.

Over time, this specialised expertise naturally evolved beyond the arts.

Today, Allison works with a broader range of clients — from professionals navigating burnout, trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, and life transitions, to women seeking grounded, deeply compassionate support through perimenopause, menopause, and the profound identity shifts of midlife. Her approach is uniquely holistic: blending evidence-based psychotherapy, somatic and nervous system regulation practices, trauma-informed care, and deep insight into the human drive for meaning, resilience, and reinvention.

Drawing from evidence based modalities including interpersonal psychotherapy, DBT, ACT, sensorimotor and somatic therapies, Allison offers clients something genuinely distinctive:

A therapist who understands both peak performance and profound vulnerability.

Her work is grounded, compassionate, intellectually rigorous, and deeply human — combining world-class expertise with warmth, humility, and real-world understanding.

Whether supporting elite performers, helping women reclaim themselves in midlife, or guiding individuals through trauma and emotional challenge, Allison’s mission remains the same:

To help people heal deeply, live authentically, and create meaningful, well-lived lives.
